Kimberley's emerging alternative health industry will be expanding once again.

Less than one month after Kimberley's city council voted to issue a business license to Tamarack Dispensary, council has now been approached by another cannabis business.

Ever since granting a business license for Tamarack Dispensaries - which will sell medical marijuana tinctures and edibles for those with prescriptions - Kimberley has been attracting a lot of attention and interest from those looking to set up medical marijuana businesses.

Mayor Don McCormick says he is proud of Kimberley City Council for making a progressive decision in the matter of granting a business license to Tamarack Dispensaries.
